If you would like to try sailing on Trinity Inlet, here’s your chance. Every Wednesday afternoon CYC members who own boats make them available to visitors to experience sailing.
The emphasis is on fun, but the racing is close. You don’t need experience, just a can-do attitude and a willingness to get involved.
The cost is only $25 for the afternoon. Just meet at the CYC Boat shed at the Marlin Marina at 12 noon.
The Tackers program for junior sailors kicks off again this Friday 10th July 2-6pm with a free event, then from 17th July for a 10 week Term 3 program For Tackers 1 & 2.

Yachts & multihulls will take part in a fun stern chase this Sunday 12th July, 12 noon briefing at the boatshed for a 12:30 start. Followed by our 112 year Anniversary Race on 19th July, briefing at 9 at the boatshed for a 9:30 start.
Sailability has some new boats arriving very soon, and are hoping to resume sailing activities in late August.
WAGS will be back on again from Wed 15th July. Wednesday Afternoon Go Sailing is a chance for visitors to join our local sailors for an afternoon out on Trinity Inlet. Meet at the boatshed at 12 noon.

Scary Legs, skippered by Graeme L returned to thw water with a convincing win on Wednesday. Second place, Dreamagic, skippered by Alan with third plzce going to Summertime Blues, skippered by Tony. Again a sunny day with good breeze provided for an eventful race for 8 yachts.
Dream Magic skippered by Alan weaves its magic and takes out line honours on a beautiful sunny day for WAGS. Second place went to Nassaja, skippered by Jeff follwed by Summertime Blues, qskippered by Adrian. The best battle of the race was between Volare and Now or Never, where the lead swapped several times.
Berocca Daze took the honors in a steady breeze. Skippered by Mickey Ink, she skillfully worked her way through the fleet to just cross the line before Lakotoi, unfortunately who missed a mark. Second place went Gray Whale, followed by Now or Never.
Eight yachts participated in an exciting close race with Now or Never (John) just finishing ahead of Dreamagic (Alan). The lead changed hands several times in the race. Third went to J24 (Tony).
The green machine, Barefoot returned with a hard fought victory over Now or Never. After a lot of hard work and expense, Warren raced Barefoot in Wags for the first time in over 2 years. John on Now or Never worked his way to the front only to be overtaken on the second last leg by Barefoot. Read more
