WAGS COURSES

Revised Feb 2016

• Start Gate between Old Club Site (Four posts in Easterly line) and Warner’s Buoy.
• All yachts finish through Start Gate
• Leading yacht after 1600hrs sets final leg of course and finishes the race through the start gate in either direction.
• Warner’s Buoy: Intersection of Outer Line of Marina and line determined by four posts in line at Southern end of Hilton / Old Club Site.

COURSES

A – South – South Easterly

Start – T 10 (Red Admiralty) to Port – Outer Red to Starboard – Through Gate and Repeat….. – Finish through Gate.

B – Easterly

Start – T 10 (Red Admiralty) to Port – Outer Red to Starboard – C 20 to Starboard – Through Start Gate – Crystal Swing Buoy (Yellow) to Port – Outer Red to Starboard – Repeat ….. Finish.

C – North Easterly – Northerly – North Westerly

Start – T 1 (Low Light …. Red Board with Black centre Strip.) to Starboard – Outer Red to Starboard – Warner’s Buoy to Port – Crystal Swing Buoy (Yellow) to Port – T 1 to Starboard – Repeat ….. Finish through Gate.

D – Easterly – North Easterly

Start – T 10 (Red Admiralty) to Port – C 11 to Starboard – C 13 to Starboard – C 15 to Starboard – Outer Red to Port – T 2 to Starboard – Warner’s Buoy to Port – Outer Red to Port – Repeat ….. Finish.

E – Sternchaser (usually E, E-NE wind and low tide)

Start 1345 hrs to seaward through Gate – Exit Channel between C 11 and C 12 – All yachts turn about to return at 1500hrs – Enter Channel between C 11 and C 12 – Finish.
