CYC has always had a strong and active racing community, and in 2022 we are looking to working with our sponsors and members to deliver over 30 racing events.

The 2022 schedule  provides for a number of Regattas to and from Fitzroy Island, a series of short course races series over  weekends, as well as both bay and inlet races.

New arrivals to Cairns and locals are afforded spectacular views from the water of the Ranges that dominate the local region.

With strong competitive racing, the opportunity to join crews from the fleet for a cold drink is a social norm, and a great way to the finish the day.
