SheSails Land event - Going with the flow: Tides and their impact on sailing  - Thursday 7 November 5.45pm for 6pm start to 7.45pm at the CYC Boatshed.

Knowledge on tides and currents is important for many aspects of sailing; from entry and exit into port and anchorages, avoiding running aground, anchoring, and impacts on boat speed and leeway. Join us for a session where we'll go through tidal theory, and how you can best plan for a sailing trip whilst taking tides and currents into consideration. Real life stories will be included because, after all, we've all run into something at some point!

As usual, bookings are essential so we know numbers. CYC members there is no charge as it is part of your CYC membership and Non-CYC Members are $15 to join this informative session.
