Just a reminder this Sunday the 29/4/18 is the monthly Ellis Beach Race Day for all off the beach boats. Attached is the info flyer, sailing instructions and price guide for race and boat hire. We would love to see as many as possible of you out there. It doesn’t matter if you are racing or not. Bring your family and let the kids run around in the sand and have a picnic under the shade of the paperbark trees. Food and drinks can also be purchased at the clubhouse.
Please we also need volunteers to help release and catch boats for each race, so if you don’t have much on come on down and enjoy such a great spot that we are fortunate to have.
With just a week to go, I’m sure you’re all getting super excited about the Ellis Beach Opening Regatta on next weekend. The entry form is here to download and send to the office or take it to the event. You can pay by direct deposit beforehand, and please remember is cash only at the clubhouse at Ellis Beach, we don’t have EFTPOS facilities there.
We are catering for lunch both days, and dinner on Saturday night, breakfast Sunday, at a very affordable fee, so please let us know if you’re coming and want to be fed.
Although this is a sailing regatta for “Off the Beach” boats please be reminded that there will be food & drinks available, and we invite all members & friends to come out to watch & stay to camp the night.
Commencing on Saturday 21st of Jan, the Cairns Yacht Club will be conducting a “dinghy learn to sail program”.
