Join Our Vibrant Sailing Community!

Whether you're an experienced sailor or just getting started, we invite you to join us for an exciting sailing experience at Cairns Yacht Club. Our club offers a variety of sailing events, from weekly races to regattas and series throughout the year. There’s something for everyone!

We also offer sailing lessons, with regular introductory courses for both Keelboats and Dinghies. Be sure to check out our ‘Events’ page for upcoming courses and more details.

Paddling Enthusiasts, We’ve Got You Covered Too!

If you love paddling, our Outrigger Division welcomes all skill levels. With numerous sessions throughout the week, there are plenty of opportunities to get involved.

To join, please fill out the membership form (link below) and email it to admin@cairnsyachtclub.com.au. Your application will be reviewed at the next monthly committee meeting, and once approved, you will be added to our membership database. An invoice will then be sent for payment. After payment is received, you can collect your membership card from the office (Monday - Wednesday, 9am - 2pm).

Car Park Cards:

Please note that car park cards are only issued to active club members who volunteer regularly. This is reviewed annually at the end of each membership year. If you're new to the club and are volunteering frequently, you may request a car park card approval at the Annual General Meeting (AGM) held around November.
